SCOTT, WILLIAM "SCOTTY" Was born October 1, 1941 in Reserve, LA, son of William Scott and Thelma Dandridge Scott. After Graduating from Xavier Catholic Preparatory School in 1959, Bill joined the United States Air Force in October of 1960. He served tours of duty in Alaska, Thailand, Missouri and Okinawa. Before retiring in 1990 from Kirtland Air Force Base as Chief Master Sargent, he received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University in May, 1991. While stationed at Schilling Air Force Base in Salina, KS, he met the love of his life, Lorita Curley. They were married on October 17, 1964. From that union they had three lovely children, Marc, Andrea and Michael. Scotty, known to his children as pops, loved life and would never shy away from telling a good joke. To all those that knew him loved his smile, and his infectious laugh! After retiring from the United States Air Force, Bill embarked on a second career with the Albuquerque Job Corp, as head of security, retiring in 2006. Career was important to Bill, however nothing made him more proud than his family. His sons and their wives, Michael and Rachel Scott, daughter, Andrea Scott and son, Marc Scott were the light of his life. Bill was blessed with four beautiful granddaughters, Jordan, Madison, Jazzmine and Justine. He is also survived by his sisters, Serena Scott and Cynthia Foster. He is preceded in death by William Scott, Thelma Dandridge Scott and Wilbert Scott. The rosary will be recited on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, 6:00 p.m., at FRENCH - Westside. Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, January 22, 2015, 10:30 a.m., at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho.
