WILLIAM "BILL" D. SCHILLINGAge 63, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, NM, embarked on his next journey to spread his good nature and sense of humor to those in Heaven on Sunday, August 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Frances Schilling of Albuquerque; his children, Keith Schilling and wife, Diane of Blacklick, OH, Kelly Taylor and husband, Zane of Phoenix, AZ, Justin Schilling and wife, Jamie of Albuquerque, Stephanie Francis and husband, David of Indianapolis, IN, and Staci Engle of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren, Makayla, Riley, Holden, Talan, Kayleigh, David, Chase, Alexa and Kaela; siblings, Larry Schilling and wife, Sherry of Decorah, IA, Phyllis Carter of Albuquerque, Gloria Thurman of Albuquerque, Carolyn Nunnally and husband, Ken of Albuquerque, and Tim Schilling and wife, Carol of Albuquerque; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Althea Schilling; sister, Rita Sanchez; and brother-in-law, John Sanchez. He was a graduate of Del Norte High School in Albuquerque, class of 1967. Bill honorably served his country in the Army in Vietnam. He enjoyed a long career in heavy equipment sales with Border Machinery, Rust Tractor/Wagner Company and most recently Choice Steel Company. Bill looked forward to starting each day by having coffee with his Dunkin Donuts clan on 4th Street. He touched countless people's lives with his humor and generosity and he leaves behind a legacy of fond memories and laughter. Whether he was Bill, Dad, Papa or Ca Ca, he will always be remembered in our hearts and he will be deeply missed.
