William Robert Reustle

William R. “Bill” Reustle was born on August 23, 1945 to Jacob F. and Helen Reustle in Brooklyn, NY. He attended Central Islip High School, graduating in 1964. In February of 1965, Bill enlisted in the United States Air Force. His assignments would include Beale AFB, CA; Osan AB, Korea; Kirtland AFB, NM; Kusan AB, Korea; Luke AFB, AZ; and Cannon AFB, NM. Bill retired from the Air Force in March of 1986 having reached the rank of Master Sergeant. After he retired, Bill went on to attend Albuquerque TV-I and received his certificate in Electrical Trades.

He made his home in Edgewood, NM with his two sons, Mark and David. After he received his certificate from TV-I he would work for the Albuquerque Marriott and Albuquerque Publishing Center. Bill was an active Mason and American Legion member in the Edgewood and Moriarty area.

William R. Reustle was preceded in death by his son, Mark who passed away in July of 2013. He is survived by his ex-wife, Chong Reustle of Los Angeles, CA; and son, David R. Reustle of Albuquerque, NM.

Memorial service will be Friday, May 19, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH – University. Interment will take place at 2:15 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
