William "Bill" Pintzow, 86, died peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He is survived by son Perry (Margie); daughter Ilene; stepchildren Michelle (Alan), Stephen and Andrea (Kyle), as well as 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded by wives Sandy and Cynthia.
Bill was born in Philadelphia and moved to Miami Beach at an early age. Bill raised his family in Miami and had a successful optometry practice.
Bill was a talented landscape and portrait photographer, and his work lives on in the homes of family and friends. He was passionate about history and was an avid reader and sharer of his knowledge. Bill was the originator of the "dad joke" and was loved by all for his kind nature. He was definitely a "ladies' man" and shameless flirt until the very end. It is safe to say that Bill touched the hearts of everyone he came into contact with and his presence will be greatly missed.
The family suggests that any donations made in his honor be directed to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
