William Joseph Neville, July 1, 1940 - April 14, 2015. He is survived by wife, Beverly and niece Nancy Silva. Bill was born and grew up in Staten Island, NY, joined the USAF after high school and spent eight years serving his country. After his service he studied and worked as a veterinary technician in Connecticut. He married Beverly, June 30, 1968 and soon headed west to Colorado. He worked at the Denver Zoo for 12 years and in 1981 formed his own company Pachy Enterprises, Inc. Bill bought an elephant, Dolly, and did rides at the Denver Zoo. In 1984, he sold the elephants and bought his first camel. He did rides at zoos in Witcha, KS, San Antonio, TX, Phoenix, AZ and started the rides at the Albuquerque Zoo in 1986 that continued to 2010. In 1999 Bill and Bev moved to the East Mountains to make their permanent home in New Mexico. Bill affectionately became known as the "Camel Man" at the Albuquerque Zoo. He was recognized by his cowboy hat and boots and his extensive Camel knowledge which he generously shared with all. Viewing will be held at FRENCH - Lomas (Lomas and Eubank) on Friday, April 17, 2015 starting at 2:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors.
