William Allen "Bud" Montgomery

William Allen "Bud" Montgomery Jr, 57, died December 8, 2015. He is survived by his aunt, Laura E. Kerr; uncle, Roy Baring Sr.; cousins, Alan S. Nanco and wife, Kyra; A. Dean Hodde and wife, Linda; Nancy Hernandez; Cheri Grajeda and husband, Pepe; Racquel Wilson and husband, Robert; Roy Baring Jr. and wife, Mary; and Gary Baring and wife, Pat; Mary E. Edwards and husband, Ralph; Bill Kuykendall and wife, Celia; and Clara Mae Harvel; along with numerous other friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Montgomery Sr. and Peggy Montgomery and his grandfather and grandmother, Charles S. Montgomery and Laura "Sweetie" E. Montgomery. He graduated from Tilden High School in Texas. Bud was a Rancher and Heavy Equipment Operator. He was a lifelong McMullen County Texas resident and lived and worked on a ranch just outside of Fowlerton, TX before moving to New Mexico in 2009. Bud really enjoyed his dogs, loved cowboying, was fascinated with railroads and sure liked to come to New Mexico to visit, especially the mountains. Once he moved to New Mexico he loved to get together at family gatherings and always had fascinating stories to tell. He will be dearly missed. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 16, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, 3901 Claremont Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
