William Paul "Bill" McCarter

Age, 72, a resident of Belen, NM died Monday, October 7, 2013. He is survived by his children, William Paul McCarter Jr., Everett and Vanessa; grandchildren; sisters, Martha Claudette Van Houten and husband, Ned of Albuquerque, and Corrine Blackwell and husband, Ray of Montague, CA; and numerous other relatives and friends. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Lucille and Paul McCarter; and his aunt who raised him Dona Smith. He was born in 1940 in Dent County, Missouri and moved to Albuquerque in 1951. He was a co-owner of Continental Machining. For the last several years Bill lived in the Belen area. His trust in Christ brought peace. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at FRENCH ~ University on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to Gentiva Hospice, 601 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87102 .
