William H. Lawrence

William H. Lawrence, age 89, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, passed away on October 28, 2015. He was born on July 30, 1926 to Frank H. Lawrence and Dorothy Marie Hasenbeck in Oak Park, IL. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Jeanene Lawrence Inklebarger; son, Michael Jay Lawrence of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Rachel Sussillo and David Sussillo; brother and sister-in-law, Val and Richard Inklebarger; and brother, John Lawrence of Oklahoma City, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Vicki Sussillo; brother, Frank Lawrence; and sister, Jean Lockwood. He met his wife, Jeanene Inklebarger, on a date; she and her twin sister, Pauline Inklebarger "Brown" came to Lawton, OK on a bus from Altus, OK. He served two years in the Army Air Force during WW II. He worked seven years in Lawton, OK and 11 years in Bakersfield, CA as an electrician. He worked 23 years for Creamland Dairies in Albuquerque, retiring as Chief Engineer in June 1988. He was a member of the Northeast Albuquerque Church of Christ.
Services will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Albuquerque Christian's Children's Home, 5700 Winterhaven Rd. NW, Albuquerque, 87120.
