William Richard Head

William R. "Bill" Head, 70, of Rio Rancho, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing and traveling. His grandkids were the apple of his eye. He is survived by wife, Marie; daughter, Madeleine Elliott and husband Melvin; son, William E. "Billy" Head and fiancé, Cathy Burton; sister, Judith Ambrose; grandchildren, PFC Hollyann Elliott, PFC Lane Elliott, Tristan Elliott, and Taylor Marie Head. He was a member of Family Church. Services will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 3:00 pm at FRENCH - Rio Rancho, with Pastor Rob Martinez officiating. A Committal service will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery with Army Honors Monday, September 16, 2013 at 9:00 am.
