William Harold Fisher

William (Bill) Harold Fisher, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 92 at his residence in Albuquerque, New Mexico, was born on January 12, 1932, in Ironton, Ohio. The beloved son of Edith and Carl Fisher, he shared his life with his siblings Bob Fisher, Rita Zeller, and Mary Aldridge. Bill graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1949 before dedicating 23 years of service to the United States Air Force, from which he retired in 1973 with the highest rank of SMSGT. In 1952, he married Kathleen Keoper in Ironton, Ohio. Bill and Katie had four children, Billy Fisher, Terry Harmon, Lynn LaBeau, and Chris Fisher. Unfortunately, the family faced a profound loss in 1976 when Chris passed away due to a motorcycle accident.

Bill Fisher shared 55 wonderful years with his late wife Katie, who preceded him in death in 2007. Together, they were the proud grandparents of six grandsons - Boyd Gilkey, Brian Bentley, Brande LaBeau, Christopher Fisher, Kevin Fisher, and Peter LaBeau - along with numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Bill was a man who lived life to the fullest and was adored by all who knew him.

An private family service to celebrate the life of William H. Fisher will be held at French- Wyoming Funeral home. Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may leave messages of condolences below for his family to this remarkable individual who touched the lives of so many. Bill lived a happy and full life until the end. He is loved by all and will be greatly missed.
