William Robert Hale

William (Bill) Robert Hale with his wife Kay by his side, stepped into the arms of his Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.

Bill was a native of North Fork, West Virginia and a U.S. Army Veteran.  He was a graduate of North Carolina's Gaston Technical Institute and moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he met his wife Kay, raised their family, and worked for Sandia National Labs for 37 years until retiring.

Bill is preceded in death by his parent,; William Edward and Virginia Hale; and beloved grandson, Nathan Hale Yokely.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Kay, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage; his two devoted children, Diana Yokely (husband Alan), Andrew Hale (wife Carla); his grandchildren, Zachery Hale (wife Emily); and great-grandson, Nathan Scott Hale; as well as three granddaughters, Elyssa Hale, Martha Yokely, and Ashley Swankowski (husband Garrett).

A Memorial Service will be held at the Sandia Baptist Church on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.

The Family asks that a donation be made in Bills name to the "Tunnel to Towers Foundation" in lieu of flowers.
