William (Bill) Easley

November 29, 1935 — July 25, 2022

We are very sad to announce the passing of William (Bill) Easley on Monday, July 25th, 2022 at the age of 86. He was born in Gallup, NM on November 29th, 1935 to William and Mary (Rocco) Easley.

He was raised in Albuquerque, NM and graduated from Albuquerque High in 1954.

Bill is survived by his wife, Nancy of almost 67 years; his daughter, Kim Thomas of Montpelier, OH; his sons, Tony (Jeanette) and Kenny Easley of Albuquerque; 7 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren, with whom he had just spent three special weeks with in Ohio.

He is also survived by his siblings, Carole Rogers of Corrales, NM, Doris (Lewis) Blackman of Hyrum, UT, Robert (Theresa) Easley of Albuquerque, and Sandra (Larry) Gillett of Pine Grove, CA; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Bill retired after 31 years with the Bell System and then started WC Easley Communications, which he ran for ten years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother-in-law, Merrell Rogers; and his son-in-law, Jeff Thomas.

Bill was a wonderful husband, father, papa, and great-grandfather who dearly loved his family. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, golfing and the great outdoors.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 4th, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside.

Bill will stay in our hearts and we will forever cherish our memories of him.
