Age 84, was called home to the Lord on Friday, June 6, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Hope Clark; children, Dale Clark, Peggy Velasquez, Catherine Liparoto and husband, Steven, Beverly Iwerks, Debbie McClintock and husband, Jim, Nancy Dodge and husband, Charlie, John Clark and wife, Vicki, and Mark Clark and wife, Eva; 18 granchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; his sister, Sharon Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. William is preceded in death by his parents, Uriah and Lottie Clark; brother, Carl Clark; brother-in-law, Gilbert Ramirez; son-in-law, Jim Iwerks; daughter-in-law, Mandy Clark; grandson, Daniel Clark; and granddaughters, Raquel and Rochelle. Mr. Clark served for a total of 36 years in the service: one year in the United States Air Force then the New Mexico National Guard for 35 years. He enjoyed dancing, outdoors, camping, fishing and hunting. William was a fan of the Old Time County Western Music artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Patsy Cline, George Jones and Hank Williams. When he was not doing his hobbies or listening to his tunes, you could find Bill working on his or other's cars. The family would like to thank the Gentiva Hospice team, especially his nurse Jenifer. A Rosary will be recited Friday, June 13, 2014, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas, with Visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 14, 2014, 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Dale Clark, John Clark, Mark Clark, Carlos Clark, Johnny Clark and Joshua Clark. Honorary Pallbeareres will be Joseph Clark and Dylan Jachter.
