William Paul Alexander, 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 10, 2003. He was born in Dawson Springs, KY. Mr. Alexander is survived by his loving wife, Viola, of 71 years. He was the loving father of three sons, Norman Paul, Robert Lewis and Kenneth John; grandfather to eight grandchildren, Linda, Laura, Lisa, Scott, Gregory, Randall, John and Debbie; and great-grandfather to Kellie, Charles, Anthony, Micheal, Alexander, Matthew, Devon, Spencer, Jacque, Brett, Zachary and Jacob. He is also survived by two brothers, Frank and Glen Alexander, both of Albuquerque and two sisters, Wahneeta Tallman of New Lisbon, WI and Janet Trull of Hickory Hills, IL. Paul retired from Visking/Union Carbide in 1970 after 40 years of service, and made many contributions to plastic food packaging materials. Afterwards, he and his wife retired to Albuquerque where he and his two brothers were active in real estate development during the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's. His hobbies were fishing and hunting; he was a man of many talents and strong determination. Paul will be sadly missed by family and friends. Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., at FRENCH- Wyoming, with Pastor Raymond Franks officiating. Interment will take place at Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Norman Paul Alexander, Robert Lewis Alexander, Kenneth John Alexander, Frank Alexander, Glen Alexander and Joseph Valdez. Friends may visit FRENCH-Wyoming, Friday, December 12, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Mr. Alexander's honor.
