Age 91, a resident of Los Ranchos, NM died Monday, August 6, 2012. He is survived by his children, Murray Kelly and wife, Mary, Steven Kelly and wife, Bonnie, and Connie Kelly; eleven grandchildren, Jennifer, Chad and wife, Kami, Meghan, Jackson, Nikki, Shandy and husband, Jay, Kip and husband, John,Christina, Brett and husband, Zach, Tyler, and Cole; eleven great-grandchildren, RyLee, Kaiden, Parker, Garrett, Trystan, Xayne, Dax, Beckham, Zakai, Kash, and Jubilee; siblings, John, Marvin "Puzz" and wife, Ginny, Donald and wife, Dottie, and Idie; sister-in-law, Nita; and numerous other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Dennis; sisters, Glendeyeone "Sis", and Bernadine; brother, Elwood; He was born in1920 in High Point, Missouri to Leslie Roy and Beulah Brooks Kelly. At the age of five Wayne's parents moved to Canon City, CO where he graduated from high school. After high school, Wayne entered into the United States Army where he served during WWII as First Sergeant. He settled in New Mexico after the war and started his electrical contracting firm, Kelly Electric, in 1953. Wayne was Past President and Past Governor of the National Electrical Contractors Association and worked closely with the IBEW and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. He was Past President of the Wally Byam Airstream Club, and a member of the Elks and Shriners. Respected and loved by many, Wayne will be missed by all who knew him. Friends and family may visit French - Lomas Chapel, Friday, August 10, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at French - Lomas Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
