Wayne Dominguez

"Wacky" Wayne Dominguez, 48, beloved son, brother, father and grandfather, was called to be with the Lord on April 8, 2017. A lifelong resident of Bernalillo entered this world on July 8, 1968 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Harold and Patricia Dominguez. Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Jason Dominguez; grandmothers, Amelia "Mollie" Navarro, Gregorita Dominguez; and grandfather, Ezequiel Dominguez. He is survived by his parents, Harold and Patricia Dominguez; grandfather, Tony "Nene" Navarro; his two daughters, Samantha and her husband, Vincent Trujillo and Donna Trujillo and her longtime boyfriend, Shaun Harrison; brother, Jonathan Dominguez and his wife, Antoinette. He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Christopher, Nicholas, Brandon, Trevor and Makayla. He leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wayne will be forever known for his love of basketball, baseball, swimming, golfing, fishing, cooking and coaching his grandchildren. He had a love for tending to his garden and running his heavy machinery on jobsites. He was a very loving and caring man who will never be forgotten.
Rosary will be recited Wednesday, April 12, 2017, 10:00 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., both at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 S. Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM 87004. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124. Pallbearers will be Brian Padilla, Ronnie Chavez, Dave Urban, Anthony Montoya, Dave Romero, and Larry Miera. Honorary Pallbearers are Gilbert Navarro, Anthony Navarro, Frank Casey, Lance Rodriguez, Carlos Quintana, Adam Archibeque, Aaron Navarro, Gabe Roybal, Marc Sisneros, Lorenzo Gomez, Hank Gallegos, and Ronald Perez.
