Wanda June (Leachman) Wright

Wanda June Wright, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 20, 2019. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry E. Wright. Wanda loved the outdoors, gardening, and watching hummingbirds on her porch. She was an artist and enjoyed crafts of any kind. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by three sons, Frank Wright and wife Debi of Belen, Dave Wright and wife Tammie of Albuquerque, and Don Wright and wife Teri of Levelland, TX; eleven grandchildren, Jackie Brown and husband Josh, Ashlei Clark, Shawnee Markland and husband Josh, Tyler Wright and wife Kelsey, Joe Don Wright and wife Katy, Shyann Stevens and husband Cody, Jason Wright and wife Hannah, Justin Wright and wife Larissa, Wesley Wright, Tristan Wright and Franklin Wright; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog Tigger. Wanda also leaves behind many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends including several online that she never met in person. Wanda's services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH – University. A reception will follow at the family home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local 4H or Rodeo Club.
