Wanda D. Ivey

In loving memory of our mother, Wanda Ivey, who in her 91 years lived a life-well-lived, passed away earlier this month. Affectionately known as “Mom” and “GG” she leaves behind four children and spouses, Tricia and Lee Smith, Kathy and Jack Henning, Joe and Linda Liebich, and Russell and partner Tony Solano; two grandchildren, Mark Smith and Lisa O’Dell, and their spouses; 10 great-grandchildren, and two spouses; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mother enjoyed a life full of activity as she raised her children over the years, traveled the world as a military wife, sold Real-Estate in Albuquerque and over the past 45 years, spent many memorable days in Ruidoso “bird watching” and enjoying the Mountains. Mom was a devout Christian in her faith and found comfort in spending time with family.

A private Interment for family will be held Thursday, January 25 at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe.

A public Memorial Service will be held Thursday January 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Montgomery Church of Christ, 7201 Montgomery NE. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you donate to your preferred organization.
