Walter Saran

Age 79, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975, died Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He is survived by his wife, of sixty-one years, Jean, of Albuquerque; children, Pegi Saran of Lubbock, TX, Karen Thompson and husband, Don of McHenry, IL; Skip Saran and wife, Wilma of Albuquerque, NM; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Pociask and husband, Ken. Mr. Saran was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Barbara Saran; sister, Mary Ellen Brandon; daughter, Susan Martin and son-in-law, Richard Martin. Mr. Saran was the Union Business Agent for Louisiana, Texas and New Mexico Bricklayers Local No. 3. He was awarded a Lifetime membership of the Bricklayers and Allied Craftwork for fifty years of continual service. Memorial Service will be held Sunday, June 30, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Christian Fellowship Church, 3901 Claremont Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
