Walter Sherman Morris

Walter Morris, 91, long-time resident of Albuquerque, NM, beloved Husband and Father, was called to his eternal resting place on June 10, 2018. He entered this world on December 7, 1926 in Fort Worth, TX, born to Bascom S. Morris and Velree Pickett Morris. He is survived by his wife, Joanna and daughters, Donna Murdock and husband, Michael of Snellville, GA, Fay Nipp and husband, Robert of Lubbock, TX and sons, Irby Rance (Randy) and wife, Melba, of Tyler, TX and Richard Morris of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by his brother, Robert W. and wife, Frances of Albuquerque, NM. He leaves 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild along with countless nieces and nephews. Walter served in the Marines from 1945 to 1946.

Public Visitation will be held on, Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at FRENCH-University. Funeral Service will be Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Park. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park.
