Walter F. "Ted" Huebner passed away on October 1, 2013 at the age of 94. He was born above his father's drugstore in Dunlo, Pennsylvania, on December 9, 1918. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Huebner and wife Carrie; his beloved wife of 67 years of wedded bliss, Ethel B. Huebner; his sister, Miriam Blough and husband Herman; and his sister, Doris Kennedy. Ted served in World War II for five years. He worked for H.J. Heinz Co., for National Cash Register Co., and for Sandia National Laboratories, retiring in 1983. He is survived by his son, Walter F. Huebner, Jr. and wife Jeannie; daughter, Miriam Brown and husband Alexander; and daughter Martha Kilian and husband Harper. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was a Mason and a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. He recently resided at Night N Gail Assisted Living. Many thanks to Kathleen Franklin and her staff. Ted and Ethel enjoyed playing golf, traveling, and being together. At Ted's request, there will be no formal services. Ted and Ethel will be laid to rest together at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
