Vonda Darvel Clark, age 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 2004, died Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Vonda is survived by her husband Bob whom she frequently said was "the one who made all of her dreams come true", as well as her son Rod Norman Colbert; and granddaughter Chanelle Halle Colbert, both of Las Vegas, NV, and many wonderful nieces and nephews and a wealth of dear friends, all of whom were a major part of her life. Vonda was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Lora Siemann Susca; her brother Howard Weber; and her sister Birdalee Shelby. Vonda was born Wednesday, December 22, 1937, to Roland and Thelma Weber in Chowchilla, CA. Vonda worked for GMAC in collections, as an airline hostess for Continental Airlines and for 20 years running her own business as an agent/broker for Farmers Insurance in Las Vegas, NV. Her goal in life was to always try to make others as happy as she was. She loved people, and people responded in kind. Vonda attributed her happiness to her wonderful husband, her family and her very dear friends. She always said that in death she would look forward to being reunited with her dear departed daughter, family members and friends. FRENCH- Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers Vonda wished that contributions be directed to the Ronald McDonald House.
