Virginia Louise Jones

It is with great sadness that the family of Virginia Louise Jones announces her passing on April 22, 2021, at the age of 96 years. Virginia will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her daughter, Jill Diana Roberts and son-in-law, Steven Paul Roberts; as-well-as six grandchildren, Lisa Whalen, John Whalen (Rebecca), Ryan Roberts (Hanne), Zack Whalen, Tim Roberts, and Kel Roberts; and her four great grandchildren, Vivian, Leo, Aurora, and Pax. Virginia was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Debralee Karen Whalen; granddaughter, Amber Diana Roberts; brother, Frederick Baty Jr.; and sisters, Audrey Lukosky, Elsie Sebern, and Shirley Strehl. The family would like to express their gratitude to the many caregivers of Kindred Hospice and private caregivers and volunteers who provided immeasurable assistance and support for the last days of her life.

The family will gather for a private graveside service at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM where Virginia will be interred with her husband, Sherman L. Jones.
