Virginia was born on December 19,1943 to Pablo Hernandez and Manuelita Hernandez in Los Lunas, NM. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Cruz Gabaldon (Jose), Paul Hernandez, Belen (Belia) Gurule (Manuel), Aurora Gutierrez (Robert), Carmen Carrasco (Nick), Dan Hernandez (Amelia), Pete Hernandez (Josie), (twins) Solomon and Virginia Hernandez; and her daughter-in-law, Lori Aragon. Virginia was named after her big sister who passed away at a young age. Virginia is survived by her husband, Anthony (Tony) Aragon Sr., and son, Anthony Aragon Jr., granddaughters, Rebecca Skiles and husband, Jake Skiles, and Alexandria (Lexi) Aragon; and great-grandson, Elijah Skiles; sister-in-law, Flora (Lipa)Hernandez, and sister-in-law Margaret Lucero (Robert).
Virginia was an employee for the Veterans Affairs for 34 years. Virginia loved her music, dancing, and going to the casino. She loved FAST cars. She loved camping and fishing with her family. She enjoyed her family and sparkled when she saw her beautiful granddaughters. Virginia was a fantastic cook, and the family will miss her Red/Green Chili and tortillas.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at 10:30 a.m., FRENCH - Westside.
