Virgena "Virginia" Garcia Costilla

Virgena "Virginia" Garcia Costilla born in Plainview, Texas on April 2, 1941 passed away on September 15,2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She raised seven children on her own, sacrificing so much to ensure all children were fed, clothed and sheltered. With a firm hand and endless love, she was both our mother and father. She was the backbone of the family. She will dearly be missed.

She is survived by seven children: Pedro Jr., Costilla, Clara Ann Bueno, Vicki DeFranco, Nellie Cota, Betty Jo Costilla, Geronimo Costilla, and Elizabeth Costilla, 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and two half sisters, Toni Campbell and Ruby Rivera.

Our beloved mother will be laid to rest at Mount Hope Memorial Park in Morgan Hill, CA. with her grandson, Raul Jr. Bueno.
