Violet (Grainger) Ketchum
January 20, 1916 — March 13, 2022
Violet Ketchum, longtime resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico went to be with our Lord on March 13, 2022. She passed away peacefully at home, after a longtime illness.
Violet loved playing piano, drawing and art. She was also a great roller skater! She was active in her church, where she played the handbells and sang in the choir. Violet loved animals and children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ruben O. Ketchum, parents, Elizabeth and William V. Grainger, sisters, Beatrice (Charles) Henry, Dorothy (Frank) Falkinberg, Phyllis (Charles) Adams, and brother William (Marge) Grainger, 3 stepsisters, and grandson Michael D. Trejo.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Ernest) Trejo, granddaughter Tiffany Trejo, great-grandson Nico Meraz and several nieces and nephews.
She was our "Golden Girl".
Memorial will be at St. Paul's United Methodist Church- 9500 Constitution N.E. on Monday, March 21st, 2022, at 1:00pm.
