Violet Jane (Krug) Duran
April 27, 1931 — July 25, 2017
Violet Duran, 86, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, was called to her eternal resting place on July 25, 2017. She entered this world on April 27, 1931 in Dysart, Iowa, born to Otto and Mary Krug.
She is survived by her daughter, Valerie Burkett; her son-in-law, Roy Burkett; grandchildren, Brianna Burkett, Cory Burkett, Travis Burkett and Taylor Duran; her son, Clark Duran, and her brothers, Glen, Robert and Merlin Krug. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dee Duran; her brother, Jake Krug and her sister, Corrine Irelan.
A visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. at FRENCH – Westside. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
