Violet Alexander, age 89, of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 6, 2016. Violet is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Lillian Willis; and husband, Frank Alexander. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Alexander and husband Ronald Johnson and Donna Alexander; grandsons, Marlo Alexander and wife Victoria and Zachary Alexander and wife Jessica; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Violet's first career was at General Motors in Illinois. Then she and Frank moved to Albuquerque where together they developed and ran Alexander Construction Co. When asked if she was a native of New Mexico, she would state, "No, but this has always felt like home to me."
Friends and family may visit FRENCH - Wyoming on Monday, August 15, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2016, 11:00 a.m., also at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
