Passed peacefully at home in the presence of loved ones. Born in Alamosa, CO to Agapita Ortega Vigil and Filbert Vigil Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Wayne Hininger, daughter Patti R. Gioia, grandsons Nicholas W. C'de Baca and Gregory K. Burns. She is survived by her son James R. Hininger of Gilbert, AZ, daughters Cheri Burns and husband Keith of Las Vegas, NV and Wendy Iverson and husband Dave of Edgewood, NM. Granddaughter Tenille Kothe and husband Mike of Las Vegas, NV, grandsons Mario Gioia of Glendale, AZ and Michael C'de Baca of Portland, OR, great grandchildren Bella and Rocco Gioia and Penelope and Oliver Kothe. Special friend Nela Wilkerson along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Vi will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
