Viola A. "Vi" Durand

Viola A. "Vi" Durand, age 85, went home to be with the Lord and her loving daughter, Louise Eckert, on Thursday, March 20, 2014. She is survived by her son, Richard Durand and wife, Nelly; daughter, Cathy Mahoney and husband, John; grandchildren, Richard and David Durand, Julia and Annie Eckert and Joseph and Allison Self; sister, Esther Chavez and husband, Roy and many nieces and nephews. Viola had a very colorful life and enjoyed her world travels. She had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren. Viola is loved and will be missed by all who truly knew her. Rosary will be recited on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. A Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Shrine of St. Bernadette, 11509 Indian School Rd. NE. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
