Victor C. Sorrells

Victor Sorrells, 34, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, was called to his eternal resting place on October 30, 2015. He entered this world on February 24, 1981 in Albuquerque, NM, born to Bert and Hannelore Sorrells. He is survived by his mother; older brothers, Danny and Michael Sorrells (wife Teressa); his older sisters, Christine Patke (fiancé Steve) and Michele Shannon (husband Robert); nieces, Lana and Bronwyn; nephews, Tyler and Ian; his girlfriend, Racquel Diaz, her boys, Daniel and Matthew, and his best friend/brother since kindergarten, Joseph Tafoya. He is preceded in death by his father.
Victor dedicated his life to helping people as a nurse in the healthcare field. He was respected and loved by all who knew him. His nieces and nephews adored him and loved him so very much. Anyone who knew Victor knew he loved pizza! He had a gentle spirit and presence about him and the most beautiful angelic blue eyes. He was the biggest teddy bear and gave the best bear hugs. God is holding him in His arms and heaven received a gem. He is going to be missed by everyone who knew him.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 3:00 pm. at FRENCH - Westside. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association, www.alsa.org, in remembrance of Victor's grandmother who died of ALS in 1992.
