Age 89, of Albuquerque, was born in Edgar, Wisconsin, on September 24, 1924, and passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2014. He was the beloved husband of 57 years to Agnes, who preceded him in death in 2008. He is survived by children, Daniel Bergs and wife Anita, Karen Ledezma and husband Art, and Kathy Bergs and wife Deb; grandchildren, Jenn, Chris, Jenn, Carrie, Brandie, and David; great-grandchildren, Madeline, Lincoln, Cecilia, Jackson, Carmen, Scarlet, and Owen; sisters, Mildred and Vi. Victor was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Bergs and brothers, Wilfred and Robert. Victor was proud to be the youngest licensed cheese-maker in Wisconsin. He retired from the FAA as an Electronics Technician and honorably served in the US Navy during WWII. Victor was a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus. Victor loved to travel, and his children will always remember the long trips back to Wisconsin in the family car. He'll continue to always be the cornerstone of his family. A Rosary will be recited Monday, April 7, 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 8, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee with interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
