Vickie Grebe

Vickie Yvonne Grebe, born September 3, 1951, transitioned to heaven breathing her last at 12:12 pm, Sunday, July 21, 2024, in her home surrounded, cared for, and loved by her family, children, grandchildren, and friends. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard Grebe, daughters Christy (and Chris) Anderson, Jennifer (and Rich) Walters, and Shanna (and Gabe) Healey, and son Jered (and Morgan) Grebe, along with 12 living grandchildren: Steffan, Tjaden, Chase, Mikayla (and Nicholas), Aliyah, Faith, Rylan, Asher, Autumn, Maddox, Emery, & soon to be Jax (pre-born).

Five weeks prior, she had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Before the diagnosis, Vickie had always been healthy and strong. She was in excellent health for her age and exercised regularly. She loved helping people and was truly a servant of servants. She enjoyed studying the Bible with her friends and family, watching movies, reading, and caring for her children, grandchildren, and the children she often taught and cared for at her church and Bible Study Fellowship group throughout the years. Even up to the end, Vickie embodied and was clothed with the strength and dignity of the Proverbs 31 woman. Yeshua's love, grace, and peace emanated from her eyes and that Light was captured beautifully only two weeks before her diagnosis at her granddaughter Mikayla's wedding (see attached photo). Vickie will be deeply missed by her husband, children, grandchildren, and many friends. All who had the privilege of knowing her were blessed by her. She, like the woman of Proverbs 31, is even now enjoying her reward from the Lord for her good and faithful service to our King. We know she is laughing and rejoicing at the days yet to come. Until we see you again mama, may your name continue to always be a blessing.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park 924 Menaul Blvd NE Albuquerque, NM 87109.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at 10:00 am at Citizen Church 10500 Copper Avenue NE Albuquerque, NM 87123.
