Veronica Garrett

Our beloved Veronica "Ronnie" Garrett passed away on November 15th, 2017. She was a loving mother to Lori Sullivan Martinez, Damion Sullivan, Justin Sullivan (deceased) and mother-in-law to Jesus Martinez. She always made quality time for her grandchildren, Jocelyn (whom she raised), Cheyanne, Dakota, Rayen, Isaiah, Deonella, Santos, Josiah and Jasper. Ronnie was born October 2, 1954 in Belen, NM to Francisco and Deonella Sanchez. She is further survived by her sisters, Dolores, Pauline, Ruth and Roland (deceased); as well as her siblings-in-law, Ruben, Dennis, David and Janet. Ronnie was loved by all of her nieces, nephews, their children, her friends and other family members, whom she remained involved with throughout her life. She was a retiree of the state where she served 30 years as a health aide to the mentally challenged. Ronnie loved being with her family and was adamantly proud of her children and grandchildren. She was outspoken, honest and never judged others. Veronica was surrounded by all of her loved ones at the time of her passing. Ronnie is now enjoying eternal love with her grandma, Josefita, husband, Dave; brother, Roland; niece, Stephanie; son, Justin and all of her relatives who have passed before her. She will be loved and missed. A Celebration of Life for relatives and close friends to Ronnie will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Lomas.
