Verona (Leland) Biesterveld peacefully passed on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, with her family. She was born in Eau Claire, WI in 1934 and moved to Albuquerque in 1956.
Verona was preceded in death by her husband, John, Sr.; daughter, Paula; son, Bryan; and grandson, Andy. She is survived by her daughter, Pam (Randy) Lyyski; son, John; sister, Leora (Bob) Svihovec; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Mel; and daughter-in-law, Tanya.
The family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers Pauline, Lynette and Melinda. Also thank you to Casa San Pablo Assisted Living Center. Everyone has been very caring in mom's last days.
