Verne R. Markham

Verne R. Markham passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; their daughter, Sharon Sanders and son-in-law Mike Sanders of Scottsdale, AZ; sons Stephen Markham and his wife Carol, Bruce Markham and his wife Leslie, and his daughter, Tammy Gassaway and husband Joel; step-son, George Dana and step-daughter, Debbie Clark and husband Gary. He is also survived by his grandchildren, his great-grandchildren and great-great-grandson, Andre. Verne was born in Graham, Missouri and served honorably in the US Navy during WWII. He spent most of his career working for Proctor and Gamble as a sales representative where he was given the salesman of the year award. He was known in his professional career as "The Tide King." Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at FRENCH - Wyoming. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
