Vern Parker

Age 99, peacefully passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Yates; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He was known by many of his church children as Uncle Vern. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque. Vern was a member of Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque. He was a well-known jeweler in the downtown area with Mendlin Jewelry Store and later with Fogg's Jewelry. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013, 6:00 p.m., at Heights First Church of the Nazarene, 8401 Paseo Del Norte NE. Friends may visit FRENCH - Wyoming, Monday, April 15, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Kiwanis Club of Albuquerque or to the charity of your choice.
