Velora "Val" Farrar, 86, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Wife, passed peacefully on October 13, 2017. She is survived by her daughter Regina Damon; son John Farrar and wife, Margie; grandchildren: Shannon Ash, Naomi Caffey and husband Nick, Ariane Saavedra and husband Ross, Tanya Lockey and husband Shawn, Jason Damon and wife Michelle, and Christopher Damon and wife Tomoko, eight great-grandchildren as well as many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Farrar and her two daughters, Carla and Debra. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Wednesday, October, 18, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Humane New Mexico. www.animalhumanenm.org.
