Velinda Baca

Today we say goodbye to our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend. Linda was relieved of her pain January 27, 2013 after a valiant and dignified battle with lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her son Gregory. Surviving are her husband of 45 years James; son, Kevin and wife Emily; daughter, Ashley; three grandchildren, who were the center of her life, Logan, Aidin, and Camden; her mother, Viola Singletary; brothers, Chuck Stanford, Walter Singletary, and sister, Linda Patterson. A celebration of her abundant life will be held at a later date with details to follow. I wish to thank all of our family, friends, and acquaintances for your kind thoughts and prayers during her protracted battle. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to the Good Shepard Center homeless shelter.
