Valerie Keagle

Valerie Keagle, 53 years old, passed on Thursday, March 21, 2024 after a brief illness. Valerie was a lifetime resident of Albuquerque. She was born into this world with challenges but used those challenges to bring so many to know only love and joy after meeting her. She was always on the move and her favorite things to do being dancing, eating tacos, and having a coffee while she got her nails done.

She is survived by her sister, Frances Wilkinson (Mike); nephew, Nathan Smith (Samantha); and her uncle, Larry (Goose) Melo. Also her longtime caregiver, Sharon Knowshisgun; her daughter, Elisa; and Grandma Joyce, provided Valerie with constant companionship as she became family to them. Valerie, who the world always knew as LuLu (a nickname given to her at birth by her father), was preceded in death by her mother, Priscilla Keagle and father, Dee Keagle.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 5:00 p.m., at Victory Outreach, 435 Jefferson St. SE.
