Valentin G. Garcia

Valentin Garcia, Sr., was a retired Pastor of the Apostolic Faith, passed away March 22, 2016 at the age of 89. Valentin pastored a church flock, his family, his siblings all of our family's children. He was loved by many. His door was always open to anyone who needed a prayer. Many received healing through his anointed prayers. He was the last patriarch of the Alfredo Garcia family. He leaves a legacy of faith, trust, respect, honor and a love for God which everyone who touched his life became a part of.
Valentin is survived by his children, Hopie and husband Bob Carrillo, Elvia Martinez, Molly and husband Chris Ipiotis, Val Garcia, Jr., and wife Joanne, Mike Garcia and wife Cathi and Steve Garcia and wife Shannon; 40 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death is his wife, Otilia M. Garcia, who passed away in May of 2014.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, 1242 Atrisco Drive SW, Albuquerque, NM 87195. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m., also at Cornerstone. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107.
