V C Barber

Age 71, a resident of Truth or Consequences, passed away Monday, January 6, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Janet Sue Barber of Truth or Consequences; children, Vic D. Barber of Phoenix, AZ, Mark A. Barber of Little Rock, AR, Donna L. Hicks and husband, Sanford of Elk City, OK, and Kendra L Conyers of Ft. Smith, AR; step-son, Greg Carey; step-daughter, Deborah Carey, both of Elk City, OK; brother, B J Barber and wife, Gertie of Redland, OK; sister, Doris Hodges of Roland, OK; 14 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. Mr. Barber was preceded in death by his brother, L D Barber; and sister, Ruby Keech. V C worked in the oil field for Baker & Taylor and Unit Drilling Company. Cremation has taken place.
