Troy Alfred Wingo

Troy Alfred Wingo, our family's cornerstone, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at the age of 87. He is survived by his beloved wife, April; son, Marc and daughter in-law, Pam; his daughters, Beryl, Bobbi and son-in-law, Dave, and Bonnie; ten grandchildren; plus, many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Linda and brother in-law, Ted; and sister in-law, Sherell. He also leaves many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughters, Karen and Sandra.

He was known for his story telling, and his love of old westerns and travel. He loved to spend time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, camping, poker, and generally lived life fully.
Troy retired from the Air Force and Civil Service. He volunteered for the US Coast Guard Auxiliary for many years. He enjoyed learning. He was always reading, some for pleasure, some for education. He lived a full life and was very much loved and respected.
