CLEAR, TROY (BILL) Age 88, beloved Father, was called to his eternal resting place on December 16, 2014. He entered this world on January 16, 1926 in Pauls Valley, OK, born to Ray Clear and Okie Forte. Bill moved to New Mexico as a small child, living in the Hatch Valley for 30 years, after a brief time in Arizona he moved to the Albuquerque area over 52 years ago. He joined the U. S. Naval Reserve at the age of 17. Bill was wounded in the South Pacific during WWII, and was honorably discharged at the age of 19 in San Diego. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved playing tennis which he did into his 70's. Fond and respectful of the outdoors he took pleasure in hunting each year and fished frequently. Bill was a successful businessman and spent years in the real estate business. He is survived by his daughter, Cathey Clear Gerber and husband, Gary Gerber; and grandchildren, John Gerber and Constance Gerber; great-grandchildren, Taylor Kitele, Addison Angulo, Ivy Elizabeth Gerber, and Alexanndra Gerber. He is also survived by daughter, Barbara Wright and husband, Tom Wright; two grandchildren, Michelle Krause and Lisa Wright; and two great-grandchildren. Bill is survived by one sister, Betty Birner of Toma, NM. Bill was preceded in death by his oldest granddaughter, Melissa Gerber Angulo; brothers, Royce Clear and Kenneth Clear; and his parents, Ray Clear and Okie Forte. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at FRENCH-Westside.
