It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our husband and dad, Trinidad (Triny) J. Moya, age 88.
Triny passed away in his home on the morning of Friday, July 5, 2024, after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family and is now resting with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Born in Tome, New Mexico to Santa Cruz Moya and Carmen Catalina Aragon, Triny was the second of three children.
Triny graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1953 where he met the love of his life, Florence LeDoux. They married in February 1955, spending more than 69 years as husband and wife. Together they raised 5 children. Triny was a devoted and loving husband and father and a strong role model.
Triny retired from the NM State Highway Department as a Highway Project Engineer after 30 years of service. He was a 3rd and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. An active member of the Shrine of St. Bernadette, Triny served in various parish ministries; as a sacristan, a Eucharistic minister, a Lector, and a member of the Men in Fellowship.
While our hearts mourn his loss, we take great comfort in knowing he is no longer suffering. He will be dearly missed, and his memory will be cherished by his family and friends.
