Trinnie Otero

Trinnie Otero passed away peacefully at her home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 10th, 2024. She was born on May 31st, 1939, to Frank & Rita Luna in Punta De Agua, New Mexico. She married Cleofas (Claude) Otero, and they began their life journey in Albuquerque. She never met anyone that she could not visit with. She was very close to all of the family and had many life long friends. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She especially had a huge space in her heart for all children. She was loved dearly and will be missed by many people. She worked many different jobs in her lifetime, Levi Strauss, GTE Corporation, and Walmart were a few of her employers. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Charles Dean Otero, her parents Frank and Rita Luna, and many other beloved family members. She is survived by her husband Cleofas Otero, daughter Shirley Abeyta (husband Michael Abeyta), son Dennis Otero, daughter-In-Law Yvette Otero. Grand-children Arminio Otero (wife Janell), Vanessa Abeyta, Gabriel Abeyta (wife Kelly), Andrew Abeyta (wife Sonja), Christina Otero, Marcus Otero and Jacob Otero. Great-grandchildren Arminio Otero Jr., Daisy and Eric Otero, Gabriel & Jonathan Abeyta, her beloved brothers and sisters and many other cherished relatives.

A church service will be held on Thursday, September 26th at 12:00 noon at New Beginnings Church on Montgomery Blvd. A reception will be held at the church following the service.

Burial will take place on Friday, September 27th at 1:00 pm at Sandia Memory Gardens at 9500 San Pedro Dr NE.
