Tranquilino Pardo

June 8, 1925 — December 22, 2012

PARDO, TRANQUILINOAge 87, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died peacefully at his home Saturday, December 22, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Amelia Pardo of Albuquerque; children, Maria Esther of Albuquerque, Fernando and his wife, Linda of Texas, Servando and his wife, Dorothy of Albuquerque, Amelia of Albuquerque, Georgina and Scott of Arizona, Elias and his wife, Monica of Albuquerque, and Jaime of Albuquerque; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren and two daughter in laws, Coleen of Arizona and Rosa of Texas. Mr. Pardo came from Mexico and worked as a tailor for several shops in Albuquerque in the mid 1960's. In 1971, he bought City Tailors at 212 3rd Street SW after a few years he changed the name to Pardo Custom Tailor. For almost 40 years, Mr. Pardo was Albuquerque's tailor downtown. A viewing will be held Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel Hub, 4001 Osuna Road NE with Servando Pardo II officiating. Another viewing will be held just prior to the Memorial Service from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. for those not able to attend the Thursday viewing.
