Tony Tagliaferro

TONY RALPH TAGLIAFERROAge 91, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012. He is survived by his children, Anthony F. Tagliaferro and Taffy Tagliaferro-Epler, both of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Anthony J., Annette, and Angela Tagliaferro, Katharine and Lauren Tagliaferro-Epler, and sister, Janet McNeil of Farmington, New Mexico. Mr. Tagliaferro was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Florence Tagliaferro; and his sisters, Estelle, Louise, Lucille, Irene, and Frances. For over forty years Tony owned the Broadway Market on Broadway and Coal. During his later years, he travelled the globe and enjoyed life. He was loved by his many friends and family. The Rosary will be recited on Monday, October 29, 2012, 7:00 p.m., at French, University. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation Church, 2621 Vermont NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum. Pallbearers include Anthony J., Annette, Angela Tagliaferro, Peter Tagliaferri, Rodney Blankley, Robert and Joseph Quirici, and Angelo Aquino. Because Tony was always generous to any family in need around the grocery store, we ask that food, clothing, or monetary contributions be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Brothers of the Good Shepard, or The Storehouse in lieu of flowers.
