Tomas Carlos Gonzalez

Tomas Carlos Gonzalez, Jr., age 74, longtime resident of Albuquerque passed away on September 21 after a short illness. Mr. Gonzalez served as a US Navy veteran on the USS Yosemite in earlier years. Later he also worked in sales and life insurance. He was a graduate of Westminster College, Salt Lake City, Utah. In recent years he was a resident at the Albuquerque Heights Heath & Rehab Nursing Home and previously Paloma Blanca Home.

He is survived by his sister, Olinda Gonzalez of Washington DC, and an extended family of aunts and many cousins. The family wishes to extend their thanks to Bob Bustos and home helpers for their support and care of Tom, especially in recent months. Additional thanks to Steve Alasandra, Carema and Ciara of Home Helpers for their special care.

A Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 27, at 11AM at Second Presbyterian Church, 812 Edith Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM, with a visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
