Tom Martin, age 51, passed away suddenly December 14, 2015. Tom loved helping teach little children at Netherwood Park Church of Christ. He enjoyed working for over 20 years as a mess attendant at the Thunderbird Inn on Kirtland AFB. He got up at 5:00 a.m. every weekday morning to catch the bus to work.
He is survived by his parents, Sam and Sue Martin; his sister and her husband, Kristie and Ron Bland; his niece, Sarah and husband, Daniel Hardin; his nephew, Steve Bland and girlfriend, Kimberly Ewing; and great nieces, Aubrey and Kimber Hardin. He is also survived by his two aunts and numerous cousins.
A visitation will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University. The funeral will be Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Netherwood Park Church of Christ, 5101 Indian School Rd NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Albuquerque Christian Children's Home or the Ponderosa Christian Camp.
